About

I'm Pravine Siva

An accountant who codes.

I help professional firms escape the drag of admin by building practical, intelligent automation that solves real operational problems.

The story

After years working in accounting — across audit, accounts preparation, and practice operations — I saw the same patterns everywhere: messy spreadsheets, repetitive tasks, manual data entry, and systems that slowed people down instead of helping them.

The frustration wasn't just the wasted time. It was watching skilled professionals spend their days on work that didn't require their expertise. I knew there had to be a better way.

So I started Automate Accountants — a place where accounting expertise meets technical problem-solving.

The approach

I work like an R&D lab for firms. You bring the inefficiencies, the manual processes, the frustrations your team has learned to live with. I analyse them, understand the edge cases, and design solutions that actually fit how you work.

I don't sell generic software or force you to adapt to someone else's workflow. Every solution is built around your specific processes, your data, and your team's needs.

The result: clean, automated workflows that give you back time to think, advise, and deliver more value to your clients.

How I work

1

Understand

We start with a discovery call to understand your current processes, identify bottlenecks, and define what success looks like for your firm.

2

Build

I develop a fully functional solution tailored to your requirements — built for your specific workflow, not a generic template.

3

Validate

You test it in your own environment before committing. If it delivers value, we proceed. If not, you've risked nothing.

Why automation for accountants?

Because I've been on both sides. I understand the pressures of busy season, the complexity of client deadlines, and the frustration of spending hours on tasks that should take minutes. I know what it's like to inherit a broken spreadsheet at 5pm on a Friday.

Most software is built by people who don't understand accounting — they build for generic "businesses" and expect you to adapt. Most accountants don't have time to build their own tools, even when they can see exactly what they need.

I bridge that gap. Accounting knowledge combined with technical skills means solutions that actually work for how accounting firms operate.
